Sailung is a Nepali word which means to radiate 100 blessings. It is also the name of a sacred hill close to Salme Khola, which is famous throughout the Ramechhap district. For Nepali people it acts as an instant ‘locator’ for the focus of the project.

TriNetra is a Sanskrit word that literally means ‘third eye’, but it can also be interpreted as giving wisdom and insight to others.

Sailung TriNetra seeks to radiate blessings through providing wisdom and insight, empowering rural people in terms of choice and scope for their future opportunities in a way that is culturally appropriate.
